Singapore

Singapore’s Largest Balloon Landscape

March 15, 2013

Went out earlier this afternoon to meet up with the boyfriend..

His classes actually ends at 12:30pm and it was nice for him to offer to accompany me down to City Hall to settle some of my work stuff (Yes, I’m going to start work really soon!).

As my appointment was still another three hours away, we managed to go for a quick lunch at Raffles City Subway before walking over to Marina Square for some shopping.

Randomly walked in to Times Bookstore and saw these cute notebooks on the shelves.

Not sure if you can read the headings, but some of my favourites are:

I am not forgetful. I am having a senior moment. (light blue)
I am not bossy. I am taking charge. (black)
I am not demanding. I am a perfectionist. (blue)
I am not reckless. I am a risk taker. (orange)
I am not late. You are early. (red)
I am not sleeping. I am meditating. (beige)

And not missing out the one that suit me the most:

I am not a shopaholic. I am helping the economy.

Ha ha ha.

Well, it was quite expensive for such a small notebook to cost S$10.59.. But since there was an 35% off for Times members, he decided to get me one for work.

Came out from Times Bookstore and this is what we saw at the atrium:

A Balloon Empire!!!

So sad that I didn’t have my camera with me as I lent it to my sister who went to USS today.

But I still managed to snap quite a few nice pictures with my Note II’s camera.

So happy that the boyfriend managed to help me snapped so many pictures 🙂

Eventually left Marina Square at slightly before 3pm and head over to Millenia Walk.

My new notebook and a cup of mango passionfruit juice from Starbucks 🙂

Got him to wait for me at Starbucks while I went over to settle my work stuff. Took me around half an hour to settle everything, before coming back to meet him.

Final stop was to Orchard to look for some craft material and had our dinner before heading back home.

Going to meet again early tomorrow morning for Disney On Ice! I’m so excited for the show! Hopefully it’ll be as wonderful as the one we saw last year.
