Oh hello there!
I realized it has been exactly one month since I last blogged.
I think I’ve once again fallen back into the state whereby I’ve no motivation to update this space..
If you’re reading this, thank you for checking back this space.
Right now I don’t even know where I should start.. There are quite a number of backlogs that I need to clear, but I guess I shall begin with my Chinese New Year celebration this year? Not going to go into details, but just some pictures from CNY 2014.
Reunion Dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year
Having reunion dinner together is probably one of the nicest things I like to do during Chinese New Year!
This year, we’ve it at the same coffee shop where we had our reunion dinner last year. We had a really enjoyable dinner last year so I was really looking forward to what we were going to have this year. And even though we decided to opt for a better (and more expensive) menu this year, the food was far worse than what we have expected.
Needless to say, none of us enjoy the food.
Late night shopping at Chinatown
New year = new clothes. Wearing the 1D minion t-shirt that the Boyfriend got for me (us) from Bangkok!
It has been a yearly tradition for us to head down to Chinatown on CNY’s Eve.. Not so much for the shopping, but more for soaking up on the festive spirit!
Chinese New Year Day 1
Chinese New Year Day 2 at 二姑’s place
Went over to Marina Square later that night to catch the movie: From Vegas to Macau (starring Nicholas Tse and Chow Yun Fat) with the family, before crossing over to River HongBao 2014 at The Float Marina Bay.

Chinese New Year Day 3
Day 3 was spent visiting the Boyfriend’s house, followed by dinner at Hot Tomato at Causeway Point.

Chinese New Year Day 9
Lunch with the family at Din Tai Fung at Jurong Point..
NOTD: OPI “Alpine Snow” top with a glitter polish from Etude House.
Dinner at my godma’s house.. Before ending the night with another movie with the Boyfriend at JEM.
Look at the amount of food that she prepared for us! And the way she presents the food is almost as good as professional catering service.
And with that, it concludes my Chinese New Year celebration for 2014!
