Continue from the previous post – 2015 Solo Surakarta – Day 2
It was around 3pm when we finally got back to the hotel. While I was tired from being out since morning, I decided to join the Boyfriend and the both of us started to wander around the hotel snapping lots of pictures along the way.
Do you know that Alila Hotel Solo is the highest building in Central Java? It has a total of 30 storeys.
Love the high ceiling and spacious lobby area..
And not forgetting the centrepiece of the entire lobby – the floating batik-inspired sculpture!
You can actually find various of these batik motifs throughout the hotel (i.e. corridors, hotel rooms, etc).
Épice – the hotel’s main restaurant:
Moving on to the hotel room..
Our room had been nicely done up while we were away.
Honestly, nothing beats coming back to a big and comfy bed!
Based on the number of pictures I took in the room, you would have known that I really love the room! From the color scheme chosen, to the batik motif on the wall, to the comfy bed / couch.. Everything was on point.
How I wish I could extend my stay here!
The bathroom was spacious and well-lit. There’s also a window at the shower area that overlook the swimming pool at Level 6.
Again, I wish this trip could just be extended for a little longer.. I bet it’s going to be very relaxing just lying next to the pool with a good book on hand.
Wide range of cardio machines and strength-training equipments are available for hotel guests. And the best thing?
The gym is open 24/7.
