Attended Amanda and Sheng Yum’s wedding banquet at Mandarin Oriental Hotel slightly more than a month ago.
Being the first one in our group to get married, I was really looking forward to attending the wedding! I actually applied half day leave on that day because I wanted to make sure that I have sufficient time to dress up and not having to rush or carry a big bag of clothes and camera to the wedding. Got the Boyfriend to come and pick me at around 6:30pm and thereafter took a cab down to fetch Sherlyn, before making our way down to the hotel.
Was hoping we could reach at around 7:30pm but nope, not possible with all the traffic on the road. Traffic on Friday’s night is just terrible! We ended up reaching at close to 8pm.
It was so much fun attending wedding with friends. Endless things to talk about and we got to take lots of wefie together.
I thought the dinner was really good! My favorites had to be the Bird’s Nest Soup and Chilli Crab Mantou.
Rare opportunity for the four of us to snap a picture together.
Come to think of it, we have know each other for over a decade?
It meant a lot to me to be able to attend their wedding. From the time we knew each other from school till now, it’s incredible that the four of us still hold on to this friendship despite being busy with our individual lives. I was honestly very happy to be there and able to be a part of it.
Here wishing the two of them a blissful marriage!
